Illinois Fusion is proud to recognize five players travelling to participate in the National Olympic Development (ODP) Finals in Phoenix this weekend.
From the 98 Boys are Dalton Bruso, Matthew Napolitino, and Michael Juarez.
Madeleine Chalifoux and and Peyton Roehnelt are representing the 97 Girls Knockouts.
The Championships for the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program spotlight the future stars of United States soccer. Each of these players participated at the State level to earn the right to vie for the top spot in the nation. The Illinois teams they represented each won the Region two championships last summer and will now compete in Phoenix this weekend for the right to be crowned US Youth Soccer National ODP Champions.
This is a fantastic achievement for these players, who have worked hard on and off the field all year and will have the opportunity to participate in one of the highest levels of youth soccer in our country.
Each player will have an opportunity to compete against the very best teams from each region of the USA.
The 98 Boys will have the opportunity to play California South (Region 4) , Maryland (Region 1) & Florida (Region 3)
Peyton will be playing against. Georgia (Region 3), Virginia (Region 1) & Cal South (Region 4)
Maddie will be playing against. New Jersey (Region 1), Cal South (Region 4) & Florida (Region 3)
