Playing Experience: I began playing soccer when I was 7 years old with the YMCA.  I also played for St. Patrick’s grade school.  I played indoor and outdoor matches with the team I grew up playing with throughout high school.  I played four seasons with the Blueboys of Illinois College.  I played left outside back in college.

Like most about soccer: Soccer is the epitome of team sports.  There is nothing like a team working together to score a goal and there are so many ways that it can be done.  As a coach, it is so exciting to watch players go through their skill development (both technical and tactical).  I am honored to have the privilege of making a positive impact on a young player though the game of soccer.

Favorite Soccer Player: Carli Lloyd.  She is a proven champion and leader of every team she plays with.

Coaching Philosophy: When I am coaching, my players always come first.  I try to ensure that our interactions are constructive and positive so that they have fun and enjoy the game.  Coaching for me isn’t about constant instruction, the game is the best teacher and experienced coaches learn when and how to provide guidance and make adjustments.
